In render settings choose "Export scene" to ORBX. Then press Animation button.

Two important things to remember/adjust before exporting:
  • - In dimensions panel set frame range to desired range
    - In output panes set the proper file path. This is where ORBX will be exported.

....AND. IF you are having issues with the render server crashing or not starting up, the export won't work. It will just render black frames to your destination folder. So if you see those pesky files, you know somethings up with your octane server.

Hi, export work for me but you have to setup all materials for Octane.
If you have Cycles/BI material export does nothing..

Cheers, mib

I never try importing back.. Another thing is, can we import a part of the model in to Octane scene. Lets say we adjusted scene in Octane standalone, but later a part of scene was updated. Can we somehow import only updated part or everything should be imported from zero?
