I can confirm the following problem in the windows version.

when i tried to open Octane Render 3.03.1 - R1 render settings (CTRL+B) i get this error, R17

3.02-R2 works well

New user here - So maybe noob level

Did you update the mac version as well?

I have 3.03.1 standalone on master and slave, and that works.

But in C4D I get the same error with 3.3.1.

I've downloaded from the link in this post 3.03.1 macosx.

But the files doesn't end with R1 - Like the windows version does.

Any chance You can fix that?

Sorry i've fixed macos version. I did a mistake on links. I've had some trouble on hardware since a few days so caused some chaotic case on builds. I'm gonna fix also pc version in one hour.
Also there is a problem on 3.03.1 SDK about 'invert' parameter in mediums. I'll make new builds when fixed SDK come out.
Big sorry for troubles.

3.02-R2 works well

I think this is first time that you run V3. It makes a copy of vprenderer3.res to vprenderer.res from c4doctane/res directory.
You can fix it by run the C4D as administrator or make it by your self. I think windows avoid to copy it when you have c4d in program files.
I'll change the system for next version.

Live viewer render is ok, but can't open render setting.

Still having issues with alpha pre-multiplication, it just doesn't want to come up as straight when you use the multipasses.
