Hi Doca,

I confirm I have the same result as you in standalone with your file but there's something very wrong with this alembic file.

Importing your ABC files in Maya, I can see the wheel already shrink in viewport,
the X and Y axis scale of the wheel are animated from 1042 to 1062

So not the best file to test rotation motion blur ;)

Well, I think I've found what is the problem.
Geometry that is exported is constrained geometry, and I believe that alembic is exporting global matrix of that object, somehow including scale. I tried to plot/bake that animation and results are the same. What solved the problem was plotting translation and rotation on a separate objects in parent/child hierarchy. Also, while plotting rotation, a must was to check "unroll rotations" that is possible in Softimage. Otherwise everything fails again. One more thing that was important while "unrolling rotation" is axis order, so that first axis is the one around wheel is spinning.

I have the same problem, exporting from Maya to Standalone:
The wheels have rotational keys on two axis.
They practically disappear with motion blur in Standalone.

Does anyone have a solution to this yet?

The Doca's problem was not with motion blur, but with bad Alembic export from XSI (which was animating the wheel scale ),
are you sure you have the same problem ?

My issue is with the wheels disappearing when rotating with motion blur.
It looks like my car is floating over the road.

It might be something similar, do you export ORBX with or without the embeded alembic option, or do you use Maya Alembic cache export ?
(with Maya Alembic there's an option to filter euler rotation)

can you share an orbx sample of the animated wheel showing the problem ?

I tried the Maya Alembic exporter and it works much better!
Now I get the correct blur on the wheels.

Thank you very much calus!
