Maya 2016 crashes on plugin load

No Alpha Version of Linux.
I am very sad.

Octane for Maya Linux Alpha version.

... but unfortunately I have to join the choir of people reporting crashes. Maya crashes instantly when telling it to load OctanePlugin.mll. Tried with Script Editor open and Echo All Commands on, but there was no new output. Tested at home machine using Win10 & Maya 2016 (no service packs, Maya student license). Standalone 3.01.1b is installed and activated and works beautifully. Uninstalled Maya plugin v2 too, did not help.

Installing Maya SP6 at the moment to see if it makes a difference. *EDIT: nope, still crashes with SP6 exactly like before* If you need more details, ask.

Maya crashes always I click the load button in the Plugin-Manager.

I'm having the same issue mentioned above. When I check octane render in the plug in manager Maya crashes immediately.

Was just for happiness but unfortunately doesn't work for me at office I tried 2014/2015/2016 with different standalone still Crash. at load moment

I will check at my home I think was working 2015. let you guys know.

Also reporting Crash with Maya..
- 2015 SP6
- 2016 ext1 SP6

The Installer didn't copy the plugin to Maya 2016 ext2 SP1, so I had to copy it manually to C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2016.5/bin/plug-ins/OctanePlugin.mll. When loading it, I get following error message:

Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden.

 (OctanePlugin) // 

"Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden" is German and translates to: "The given module has not been found"
Maybe it was not enough, just to copy the OctanePlugin.mll to the plug-ins folder, so I'm not sure, if it is of any help.
