Hi, i have a problem with Motion Blur.

The only object that is blured is the "cup" but in wrong way. it's always blured if it is not moving too. And other objects are not blured?

I use Octane 3.02 -LW Plug-in

Someone had one idea?

Thank you very much.

Have you tried to render the scene with F9/F10? The deformations motion blur can't be rendered in the IPR window due to LW SDK limitations.

Anyway the cup object motion blur is weird issue. Is it a instance?

If you want to send to me the scene, I could test it here to find where is the problem.

Thanks,

Hi Juanjio,
yes the trouble is only on IPR, and i found the problem.

I had unflag "Enable deformation MB" in tab MB. So i flagged ON and if now i render with F9/F10 every things is right!
Thank you very much!

Using the Octane native displacement? Let me check, but I think that currently the Octane displacement map is not compatible with the motion blur effect.

Hmm, nope, at least a simple object with displacement works with motion blur without problems. Can be a problem in objects with deformations?

Yes, sorry, the problem seems that Octane doesn't support the mesh deformations motion blur in the surface has a displacement. You are going to need to use the LightWave native displacement, or find other workaround (perhaps a more detailed model with bump or normal maps).

D'oh! I have all MB stuff turned on in target, but my drill bit is completely disappearing when it spins fast... anyone else have stuff completely disappear when spinning?
