Hey guys,

Can anyone get this working? Doesn't matter what border mode I choose, it doesn't change for me. This is with a displacement node.

Thanks!

Displacement will not pickup on the Border Mode. Pls see the link in my signature for the limitations when using Octane displacement mapping.

Gtocha. Sorry didn't see the link. I just did it in photoshop, was just trying to save some resolution.

Does this still hold true? "3) Octane assumes black pixels in the displacement map have 0 displacement. If using a displacement map where 0 is a negative displacement (for example, a map generated from ZBrush), put a "Shift" of negative half the "Amount" (ie. if the Amount is 0.01, the Shift will be -0.005)"

I remember shift being there, but now I see it says "Mid-Level"

Thanks

No, you are right - this is now not valid with Octane 3.
