Of course, using a high resolution scan will add a lot more details, I can't agree more. The thing is I was just experimenting to get that translucent look and wasn't that much worried about everything else. As you can see in the setup, I didn't even add reflectivity to the parts of paper coverd with ink. But I think that you will agree, that even using some (not so HQ photos) of money found on the internet, produces amazing results in terms of paper surface . Here is a close-up shot:
I think I even could increase the bump strength a bit more for it to be more pronounced. But of course if it was a commercial project where paper is in focus, you would add as much detail as possible.
