EVERY company no matter if games or application is facing piracy. And they still there. It's the lamest excuse a company tell people. Everytime the sales go down its a matter of piracy and not the application.

Not everyone will have a flatrate internet connection or stable. I'm in Germany and we have nice internet but also a diconnect every 24hours.
What if I render and animation over night? It will simply stop!

You tell us to go to warez sites and complain? No! YOU are the developer and WE are your clients. Your business is running because of our money. Nothing more, nothing less.

And I will loose MY companies money if I can't supply a animation or high-res render in time because of a simple internet failure? This can't be true and is totally unprofessional. I don't want some kind of "WoW" client.

I'm a professional who makes a living with the work and I can't use a renderer where I can't rely on if my internet connection breaks for a minute or two.

You want to make a living out of your work too but I doupt you will make a good living with such stupid restrictions.

If Octane team says that this stuff will not affect your work then we have to whait and see. You start panic like a little girls I just cant belive that Octane team will give us soemthing that will not work.
Why do you dont comment when they say This gives a lot of new possibilities for great new features, workflow and cooperation community-wise,
allow for floating licenses (eg lock your license on one machine and unlock it on another),
and enjoy tightly integrated updates and sharing of content between users.

We must FIRST see what have they done after that you will have right to make comments and then we will see is that good or bad.

It is so stupid to comment something (or someone) if you didnt meet or see that.

At the end you buy licence and if you dont like it dont buy it anymore, simple as that, you didnt spent 800 $ for this and if Octane team is wrong they will loose money too.
