Hi guys.

I'm still having the same problem. No render. I move to another machine, 4 Titan X, so I guest vram is ok. My scene is not so complex and the thing that it was working fine on C4D R6.

On this scene there is no animation. Every object on a separated scene render fine, but is not what I need. I delete textures and derfinilty the problem is with the textures, is the first time I have this problem.

Also on the previous scene, there where triangles on some objects but the render was fine, but just on C4D R6. The problem is related to a cuda error and the textures. But, why it was fine on C4D R6, even with a bigger scene and just one Nvidia Quadro for processing.

This is the log :

I have got a verry similar problem.
It's verry random. sometimes it renders when i disable some objects.
The next time the same objects they where not rendering before render when i disable some
other objects. and i just get a black frame. its realy strange.

here the render log

Hey guys,
Do you know that's not a plugin problem? It's a error on Renderer. So users should be away what causes this.
Do you know and check triangle limits, free VRAM?

Hi aoktar

The strange thing is that is works in the live viewer, just when i render it out with the Picture viewer it creates black frames.
it shows that i use 2.9GB of 6GB vram and the scene has 511k/14.64m tris. Actually that should work fine?

Be aware of different subdivision for objects for viewport and final render. LV uses viewport's settings not final values.

Read carrefully error messages. Most likely, first message about unsufficient VRAM. See material export times(102seconds, that's crazy big numbers). Second should be about limits polygon, see geo export times and message.

thank you for the input. i did not know that there is a big difference between LV and picture viewer in terms of poly subdivisions.
i hope i can make it work now

cheers

İt should be in manual and some topics. Big difference happens if you set the divisions high for output.

The scene. Is not a very complex one, ant the objects are very, very low poly. Yes, a lot of textures, but that should not be a limitation.

Hi guys.

I manage to fix the issue. It was related to my nvidia drivers, one update and up and running.

Tried to access null item
Export materials time= 112764.369 ms
Collect objects time= 0.346 ms
Mesh creation time = 121.282 ms.
Triangle count:485k
Total export Time = 173074.391 ms

So, if I have triangles in my scene that is a bad thing ? I'm very careful with that, specially for deformation, but hard surfaces, not so much, specially if is not a close up.

Thanks guys !

Cheers !
