Can you explain this workflow for me? Running multiple versions? Can i have multiple folders with Octane in C4d at the same time? And different standalone versions at the same time too?bepeg4d wrote:Hi artdude12,
no problem you can have multiple Octane version in your system without conflicts, Standalone Alpha 6 has a new improved UI, give it a try

Standalone is fine to co-install, each version creates it's own folder.martincarlson wrote:Can you explain this workflow for me? Running multiple versions? You have to rename the folder of course to know which version is which when inside C4D - in my case "c4doctane" is 2.25:

I just wanted to be sure that Network Rendering is not working or disabled? That I'm not just doing something wrong trying to network render.
I couldn't quite find a definitive answer on the subject in this thread.
Didn't realize the releases matched up like that. Thanks for the help!bepeg4d wrote:Hi natemac00,natemac00 wrote:I just downloaded Octane Stand Along 3.00 Alpha 6 & Cinema 4D plugin Alpha 3.1.

be sure to use Standalone v3 Alpha 3 in the slave to working with the c4dOctane v3.1 version for now
Standalone and plugin version should always match for net rendering
