Just wanted to check if this is the expected behaviour as it has caught me out a couple of times.
I was trying to plug an image into the bump value of an octane override and wasn't seeing anything happen in the OctaneRender Viewport.
Bump value in schematic has to have a value added before a map is piped in otherwise it does not pick up map as driver of the bump. Strange behaviour as I would expect the map to directly pump it's own values into the bump attribute. Is this correct/expected behaviour?

This doesn't sound right - are you able to post a screenshot of the Schematic pls? If you add a Bump map Effect to the Shader Tree prior to adding the Octane Override, you can see from the generated Octane Override the correct connections for the bump map.

Hi Paul,
I am not seeing this behaviour at the moment, it may have been an error on my part. If I come across it again I'll let you know. It was happening when I added the image via the schematic, not via the shader tree.
