
Octane Render 1.022b beta2.2b released [OBSOLETE]

GREAT !!! WORKING FINE !!!! much more stable ! 

Reporting some issues:
1. the device manager labels in the bottom panel are slightly misaligned vs their respective coloured boxes - see pic.
also I note there is some small difference/inconsistency in the line spacing in the turntable and daylight animation panels.
2. there is an issue with some memory not being released when changing resolution. In a scene I opened at 1024x512 it stated 16mb was used for the film. changing to 4096x2048 it jumped up to 265mb. changing back to 1024x512 it dropped to 152mb..etc...the difference is consistantly 249 but its growing by about 137 each time. I think this might be 2x the memory used by the geometry which was 68...HTH

Hi, due to temperature over 33°C and lack of air conditionning, I have rarely switched on my workstation these past weeks, but I took advantage of one day under 30°C to do some Blender works and test the 1.022b beta2.2b and it looks fine !

I tested pre 2.3, but very unstable, lot of crashes, not reproductibles...

I didn't read the thread, maybe this was already posted, if so - disregard.
When I attach a node output (say image) to a material input (say specular) and then detach this connection - the material parameter in question disappears from the Node inspector. You must attach something to it in the graph editor, if you want to be able to tweak it. I think it should instead return to some default type / value.

I have a mac pro 3.1 with a new NVIDIA Quadro 4000, the operating system 10.6.5.
I downloaded pre-OctaneRender beta2.3 v5.app, when I import the mesh in octane(add> object> mesh) and select the mesh to start the rendering nothing happens, the rendering part. What could be the problem?

there are other user with the same setup and the same issue, I think that the drivers are too new for octane. I hope that the incoming v5b with cuda 3.2 could fix it

Hello, i have a major problem with Octane. Picture below. Im working on workstation without any internet connection and i dont want to connect this hardware do internet, so i cant register 2.4 beta. But this 2.2 look like this after launch.
