Hi Everyone,
I'm seeing a 1.2GB memory unavailable on my device preferences in Octane Standalone. I am using two 980 TI Hybrid GPUS with my Apple Cinema 27 inch display powering from the integrated graphics (Intel 530) from Z170 Deluxe / i7 6700k cpu.
Will I not be able to utilize all 6gb of my 980 ti's memory?
Any help will be much appreciated!!!

The OS and your open programs are eating it up. If you just enabled GPU number 2, I bet you will be able to use the full 6 GB. At least this is my experience on my Windows machine with multiple 980 ti.

Hi,
just a guess, have you disabled the "Multi GPU" option in the "Configure SLI" section?

It is because of a bug in WIndows 10. There is a pinned post from the Octane Devs here soewhere on the board.

Hi leo64,
please, post a screenshot of Preferences/Devices panel, thanks.
As mbetke pointed out, there is a known issue with total VRAM in Win 10:
Unavailable memory on Windows 10

I hope windows10 solve this problem soon.
Hi leo64,
it seems that everything is in order, due to connected monitor + Win 10, you are losing 1.1GB of VRAM.
Win 7/8, Mac Os X, and Linux do not have this issue.

Hi leo64,
if your GPU is not connected to any monitor, you should untick the Priority option.
Win 10 sucks ~20% of VRAM for any GPU in the system.
