Hi All,
EDIT: Funk has explained below how to install on CS6 and earlier. I had tried already but without success. following his method I now have plugins working on CS6.
Note: it also seems to work with the OctaneCompositingFormat.8bi, OctaneLayersSetup.8ba and OtoyEXRFormat.8bi files&* in the plugin parent folder on my CS6 system
ie. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Plugins\
*the files from the archive as explained by funk

i7-4770K, 32gb ram, windows 8.1, GTX Titan and gt 620 for display
I'm still on CS5.5 and extracted the plugins manually. I only did a quick test but they all seem to be working
+1 for official support though

I extracted them manually, but only the opener showed in the about menu... Got a screenshot?funk wrote:I'm still on CS5.5 and extracted the plugins manually. I only did a quick test but they all seem to be working

1) I used 7zip (right click the zxp and choose 7zip > open archive)
2) I then created this directory: \Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\3rd Party\Octane
3) I extracted the 3 x64 files into it

It would be great that octane PH plugins begin with "OTOY_", so it would be more easy to list them.

Just to let you know guys: both PS CS5 and CS6 are not officially supported at the moment (the extension manifest specifies this, that's why you cannot use the Extension Manager to install it).
The reason for this is that there are a couple of subtle differences in the Photoshop API and didn't have the resources to do proper port and testing on those versions but all might work just fine.
I'd appreciate if you find any issues using those versions to let us know about them.
Cheers.
