I post this topic upon suggestion from the dev team after I sent them some questions about the drivers and toolkit version that need to be installed.
I post here below what I did last night.
If someone of you in the forum has advices on what I did wrong, please post a reply.
1) The Octane download page links to the CUDA list of drivers version 3.0. Attached is the list for MacOs. 2) Now, the CUDA toolkit and the NPP library download automatically
The toolkit installs itself while the NPP library just unzip but.... where this NPP folder is supposed to be placed?
The GPU computing SDK also downloads with no problems.
On the contrary, in order to download the CULA and the PGI CUDA Fortran I had to go through 2 registrations and login procedures.

3) In the CULA download page there is written that the CUDA toolkit version 3.1 should be installed.
See the attachement. I asked the dev team about version 3.1 and the answer was that it is not guaranteed to work with the actual Beta of Octane on all systems but the next version will be 3.1 based.
So I think maybe it`s better to download also all the v3.1 files.
Here attached the list of v3.1 files for MacOs. 4) So now the list of downloaded stuff looks as in the attached shot. 5) the PGI CUDA Fortran is a disk image with 2 installers.
On installation a dialogue window tells you that it needs Apple Xcode v. 2,5 or above. The Apple page says that the XCode is available only to registered developers.
The dev team replied by emeil telling that the code can be found on the installation cd of the OS.
I did not install the Xcode yet.
The dev team, after I sent the sreenshots, tells me that I am downloading the wrong stuff.

But beside the version 3.0 or 3.1 issue, the files are just those listed on the page to which the Octane download page links to.
So...can somebody tell me which are the needed files and which ones are not required?
And where th NPP library should be put?
Thank you very much in advance !
