Here two screenshots. Octane is disabled to prevent crashes during using Vray. I try to manual load the plugin.

No, this doesn't work for the current Rhino session and I don't want a permanent loading. I'm looking for a manual load if needed only. I have seen this is a Rhino bug and I post it at the Rhino forum now.

This is potentially a bug in VfR when it is trying to render the thumbnail for an Octane material. Can you send me a crash report pls?

McNeel will analyse the report, and if it crashed in the Octane plugin, they will send it to me, however if it crashed in the VRay plugin, it will get sent to the Chaos Group devs.

Paul, please add an option to disable the message, that Octane needs to be enabled to get the right material preview. Please add a little flag option at the material info message like "never show this message again".

Once again, here the error message.

This looks like an exception occurring inside the Rhino RDK. Are you able to give me a set of steps so I can try to reproduce this error pls?

The Octane plugin is enabled at the plugin list, but not the current render. Important step: choose Rhino renderer, disable the Octane UI at the properties tab, close Rhino and restart (Also for this test I disabled the Vray plugin before, so it's not loaded during the crash. Rhino crash with and without Vray is loaded at the background, so the Octane crash shouldn't be caused by the Vray plugin).
Than I open a file where I used Vray for Rhino before (like attached file) and enable the Octane UI at the properties tab . Than I go to the object properties. Octane message for better preview is shown. Press ok. Crash.
