I'll make a quick release asap. But will not be completed version. Still lot of work needed to improve deep integrations for volumetrics. We have got emission/scatter/absorption for one volume on latest sdk. That's just two days ago.

Joking aside, i can release immediately but i worked on additional stuff. As making support for 3rd parties, like TFD, xp. And adding special generator volume object. Improving particle engine. I have to make thus a bit more usable. Otherwise nothing is here for users.
Just wanted to say thank you for taking whatever time you need to add support from the beginning for TFD and XP. Having those available to use with Octane is everything. Thanks again!

Oh exciting times ahead, please don't rush it, you should even take a vacation before all the v3 features are implemented in standalone!
When you do get down to it, I guess there will be a simple VDB reader object too? So it supports Houdini bridge?
Thanks,
Sandi

Yes. See Volume object. It's a vdb loader and also volume generator.ratata wrote:Oh exciting times ahead, please don't rush it, you should even take a vacation before all the v3 features are implemented in standalone!
