Hello,
I haven't been able to output a vector pass for any scene I tried. (eg. Simple moving sphere) All I get is a grey image.
Could someone please tell me how to make it work ?
Thanks.

The motion vector pass can contain negative values, which means that it only makes sense to export it in OpenEXR format. Have you tried this and inspected the values because I guess negative values will be displayed as gray.

So has anyone ever figured this one out?
This old thread was never got with satisfactory answer.
What exactly do we have to do to get a motion vector pass out of Octane and what will it work with?
I also only ever get flat mid-grey renders.
ie. - is the motion vector data compatible with RSMB or other motion blur plugins for post?
