Batch Rendering a Scene with Ncloth Simulation

Hi Guys,

has anyone been able to batch render an ncloth simulation in Maya using Octane? do please share your workflow.

I rendered a job recently using ncloth. All rendered ok.

If you are having issues, you could bake the sim or output as alembic and re-import.

did you use the Cache first or did you render straight out?

I figured it out. It's now working.

The job was a while back, but I'm pretty sure I baked the sim.

Out of interest, what was your solution?

I had to change from Realtime to Frame by Frame playback of the Simulation.
