Too much noise for this simple scene. 2 hours of rendering 780 gt Path Tracing & portal.
I think too glossy material.

Set GI clamp to around 1.

And Caustic Blur to 1 as well.
Try to avoid reflection/roughness texture maps with pure white in it; I always mix them with a grey value.

The noise is in the dark areas - so reduce Kernel->Path Termination Power (from 0.3 to 0.1). Pls see the Octane Notes link in my signature for details.
