Excuse my ignorance, but where is the 2.24.2 standalone release? I can't find it.
At the moment I can't install the plugin, remove the last one (2.24.0) when I install the new one It says plugin not found.

Aoktar maybe this is important.
I tried to install the plugin on cinema 4d 17. I downloaded the zip file, erase all the cdl64 except the R17 and the plugin didnt work. This time I erase all except R16 and the plugin works. Something wrong happens with c4dOctane-R17.cdl64 file.

Thanks for info. What's build/version numbers of R17?JavierVerdugo wrote:Aoktar maybe this is important.

You can use custom objects via object tag. I'll remove "particle engine" option from LV menus. Thanks.fatfreemedia wrote:Thanks - this update is great. Is there any way to shade the particles via Octane or is that in a future release?

I haven't tested it honestly. Because haven't time to do. We'll see...ron908 wrote:Looking forward to the R17 release - can you make sure, that the Token system will be supported in the Render Passes filename fields? It's rather important, because otherwise the passes just overwrite each other...

Also, for me, this option is very important. Please respond because it depends on us over time.
Thanks

Why do you wish that? Settings window is disabled on anim. rendering to avoid problems. So this requires new interface for Render Settings.krzychuc4d wrote:Hi Aoktar,

1.
When rendering long animation I want to use full speed
but sometimes I need to do some other task in back ground.
Because of that I have to stop rendering (octane eat whole GPU power)
when i hit render again cinema calculates whole project/dynamic sim (even if it's baked)
as you know precalculation takes sometimes 10-20 min (complex projects)
2.
same with very high resolution stills in picture viewer.
If project needs couple hours to complete and we wish to do something in background...
If we could change GPU priority PViewer on the fly we can save time.
But if its impossible or take to much time that is fine, don't worry
