Please, if you decided to report a bug:
- Give a meaningful description about what you think is wrong (in addition to screenshots if any). I can't spend the time solving the rebuses...
- Don't post here the reports of bugs of Blender addon-scripts that are nothing to do with Octane plugin. Use search, as some of these have already been discussed many times here (e.g. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=44934&p=222846&hil ... ne#p222846).
- Don't post here the reports about how Octane engine works - use the Octane Standalone forum sections for that.
Any meaningless or rebus-like "reports" here will be deleted, just to keep the testing threads clean - because these threads are directly used as the source for fixing and improving the plugin.

I'm still having the problem, that it will sometimes just stop rendering. This is superannoying as it basically stops me from rendering animations unattended overnight etc ... it will just happily render up to a random frame and then just go to 795 of 800 samples .... and just stay there. I can then the next day simply ESCaping the rendering and work as if nothing happened .. no crash in blender nor render server etc ... it just simply stops rendering close to the end .... it never stops at 200 of 800 or so ... always at the end ... and apparently random ... I can change the resolution down and it will render the entire movie with otherwise same settings etc. This is really driving me nuts.
System atm is Win10, up todate.

This is actually Octane engine issue - the engine stops rendering on the samples value close to max. samples and never reaches max. samples value. And the plugin just waits before the samples for the current frame reaches needed value, which never happens... I remember we had this reported before in previous plugin versions, and the engine team fixed it in previous engine versions... But looks like sometimes this fluctuating issue still shows up in some cases...
I will try to reproduce it on my machine.

I don't know what causes it ... because I can render othe animations fine ... or I can change parameters like reducing the resolution a bit and it is fine and so on .... very hard to isolate the issue. Most single images I render work without problems and I haven't seen this issue since a long time ... it only appearad again, when I tried making an animation and it would freeze up on frame 30 or so.
