In fact, someone representative of Otoy could, at the very least, explain what it taking so long to give us a status, other than "we're working on it".
Saying you're working on it -- for weeks/months -- with nothing to show for it, only makes you look like you're not working on it.
An official statement is not a solution to a problem. We're past solutions, because most people have given up (long ago).
We're merely asking for a STATUS. A statement of where we are. That is all.
If things are changing, that should be reflected in a statement: "things might be changing soon, and here is why __ ".
It's really pretty simple.
It is not easy to give someone slack, when they have been given slack for over a month with no real response other than "hold on, we're working on it". Exactly how long should we wait? <-- THAT would be helpful information too!

I wise man once said : "The information that there is no information is already an information."
We already asked for an estimated timeschedule how it will take to give us a statement of the status. The answer was "Hopefully next week".
Now - again one week further we still do not have a simple answer not an estimated target date when they are able to hand out any informations. Nothing.
So where was the information about that delay ?
We are not talking about big things here. We are just asking at for a status and when the answer was at first we need to clarify these before then we could expect a timing.
I mean this thread itself is a clear farce to almost every new potential customer. It shows very clearly the total incompetence of Otoy to handle their third party arrangements.
When i am say Otoy i feel a bit sorry that it is almost Goldorak who is the getting als this projected on. But i still guess that no one of Otoy's high level management is involved here or have ever heard about issues here.
And when we talk about customer relationship.
Me - and i think i am not alone - are already lost customers. We are at the moment DAZ User - entry level - using a free program.
But we have potential to advance. I already started with Blender. I also took a look into C4D. Perhaps i will buy in near future.
I am pretty sure that i will NOT use these programs with octane anymore. Not after this.
Right now i feel better spending my money in future somewhere else or use it to as toiletpaper then spending a single penny again in an Otoy product.
But me and many others already have paid money to Otoy ad we still try to claim what we have already paid for.
