Render skipping frames issue
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
Which frames are skipping? Can you show me a screen with picture viewer history? We have some debugging options to check it.CCIDgfx wrote:The issue is skipping frames while rendering. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere. This is a fairly new computer with all new parts.

you have two option to get my help, please choose one:CCIDgfx wrote:It's still happening and I'm on a pretty tight deadline to finish this project an I have to keep restarting my renders.
1-Describe very well the scene content and render settings.
2-Send me the scene to check
Thanks

I'm checking. On which frame does it start to skip frames? Is it happening after a spesific frame? Also what's your driver version?CCIDgfx wrote:Here is the scene I'm trying to renderThank You

I have the latest Nvidia drivers and I'm using the latest version of Octane plugin.
It usually does it around the 7th or 8th frame. It will do it twice then I can get it to go for a bit longer. But I can never render a full scene without the skipping frames.

I have tried to test it. Working as expected. I suppose there can be a problem on Renderer side as a crash or Cuda error. Have you checked the Script->Console output or LiveViewer->Help->Octane Log after this skipping happened? Anyway i'll try to check more to see somethings.CCIDgfx wrote:I have the latest Nvidia drivers and I'm using the latest version of Octane plugin.
