Copy objects with mix material to new project

hi,
unfortunately, is a common issue with external renderer, just apply three material tags to your object where the last one on the right is the mix material and the first two the mat1 and mat2, that's it
ciao beppe

Hello there,
there is another problem.
Even if you put every material on the objects (mix and two others) the connections between the materials in the node editor are gone. e.g. a leaf texture with one glossy and one diffuse for transmission material there the diffuse image texture isnt connected with both materials.
do you maybe know a trick for that?

Super old issue without support. It will be broken if you use one node with two different materials. It's why I created new blend material as alternative.ktheorin1 wrote:Super old topic, but I'm having that same issue. And yes, it is exactly like that picture you showed above. Any fix?

There's not a converter but planned.ktheorin1 wrote:Is there any way of easily converting Mix Materials into blend materials? Also is there any difference between the two other than the Blend Material not having as many issues?
