Hello,

I have a mix material that I would like to duplicate, but whenever I do, only the mix node itself is duplicated; the contributing materials are not duplicated. Is there a way to "package up" a complete material for easy re-use or to be able to adjust separately? I have a bunch of jelly beans in a jar, and the LiveDB Banana material is a great starting point, but I don't want all of my beans to be yellow :)

I have tried dragging the banana material to my local DB, but Cinema hangs when I do that (100% repeatable).

Thanks!

Is it fast? Oh, yeah!

Use the user section on the livedb :) works great for mix materials.

hi,
there is a known problem in saving materials to the LocalDB and the latest SDK, is not plugin related, there should be an update asap ;)

Its a cinema issue, same thing happens with vray. You can just create a null object and put all the used material tags on that. Then you can copy/paste, or save as a user object and all the mats propagate.
