Thank you.
And I feel that recent modo plug-in is very stable. Thank you.

Hi Paul,
I found a bug, but maybe this is how the plugin was programmed.
Now on modo 901 the preview resets each time I switch tabs in modo, Can you make it not to reset, and let it keep render. Can we use the do not change the image button for this?

Hi - This is controlled by Modo (and I agree - I do not like it this way) - so cannot easily be changed. It also happens with the Modo Preview Render window - when you start, if you then switch tab the preview render stops rendering. So the Octane Render window behavior is consistent with the way Modo works. If you need to change Modo layouts, use the Octane->Open Octane Viewport menu option rather than starting the render from the OctaneRender layout. But even if you do this, if you swap in and out of the OctaneRender layout Modo will cancel the render (in the Octane Viewport panel).

I have refreshed the installers at the top of this thread with:

2.24.0.85
- Zooming the Viewport with the mouse wheel now zooms on the mouse position
- Add a warning message if there are any '~',':' or '%' characters in Shader Tree group names. These characters are used for Selection Set and Part support, so should not be used in Group names
- Changed the conversion of Modo Luminous Intensity to Octane Emitter Power
- Fixed further problem with Modo Offsets not being applied correctly
- Changed the Viewport color scheme to match Modo render viewport
- The Modo Material Diffuse Amount is now used as the Octane Diffuse Image Power
- Modo numerical properties/channels can be connected to Octane Float nodes if via a sub-assembly. This is an undocumented workaround - intended for advanced users only.

Hi Paul

Thank you for the black background, makes octane feel like part of modo 100%.
How about this idea for the window. Inserting thelogo, instead the play button with a blurry octane logo.

Is this so then you don't have to re update the materials right? And will this help the transferring materials between scenes?

Usually I just add an octane over ride and change the values in there... Lately I have been just changing the materials and having them convert on the fly from modo so I can transfer materials between scenes easier.

I am sorry, but I am just seeing this as an extra step? Am I missing something? No offense fyi..
