If its not one thing its another.
I need to get both copies of Cinema running with Octane, just like it always has. Now when I deactivate on the web I get an error saying I have to wait 52 min before I can reactivate.
I need to work.
Cooldown 52 mins...

Its not letting me run Octane in two instances of Cinema on the same machine.
What is the procedure to get it working without being locked out for another hour

Are you using the "-parallel" command argument? Aoktar told me this trick for rendering in one instance and working in the other. I can even render in one instance and run live viewer in my second instance with my 5960x and 5 overclocked 980ti.

No, i've never had this problem before. In all the previous versions I could run multiple instances of cinema no problem.

it shouldn't be version related. I run many versions same time. try again after a while.

Still getting the 'its activated on another machine' error in R16.
It's running in R17, and I don't want to risk breaking that again.

All you need is to add a "-parallel" parameter to "CINEMA 4D.exe" when you run it. I can do it easily from my old friend "Total Commander". Also you can use a "*.bat" file to run C4D or any other method. You can run many copies of C4D at same time.Yambo wrote:Ahmet, can you give please some short explanation on how to run 2 instances on cinema and render simultaneously?
