Hi everyone!
I downloaded the Octane demo version and damn, it's really impressive.
I was running some test here and someting really odd happened. Don't know if it's a software limitation or if I'm doing something wrong, but everytime that I try to use Octane displacement my shader turns black. If I use the 3ds Max default displacement it works fine, but the memory comsuption is way bigger. Is that a common issue or am I being too noob? hahaha!
Thanks in advice!

hi,
what is the scale of the character?
Since Octane is an unbiased render, the scale of your geometry is quite important.
Try to change the Ray Epsilon value in the kernel settings until the black effect disappear
ciao beppe
