How do you upgrade to newer version and unlock full features? I installed the latest but it only runs in demo mode. I looked around for a license file and activation button, but no luck. I forgot exactly what the process was when I purchased and installed the program originally last month.

hi,

there is no 'demo' mode. if you're running the demo you are running the demo version, not this commercial version.
the demo version is a different application. this commercial version only works with a license key, it does'nt run in demo mode or anything without a license.

Which one, i assume you're talking about the mac 'package' ?
it would be handy if you can put your os/hw details in your signature so we know what you're running.

i have got a problem with the new version.
Since i did the upgrade Octane crashes when i click on the node to start the rendering.
I tried several .obj i used before without any problem.
My system:

macbook pro 13"
2.26 GHZ INTEL CORE 2 DUO
8GB RAM
Mac os X 10.6.4

i found the problem: i installed the CUDA 3.1 Drivers instad of 3.0.1.

yeah i know things are getting a bit complex, anyways, the next one will be beta 2.3 so that's already one less character, eg the 'b'.
