One of my PCs cannot load the octane plugin (OctaneRender for Maya 2.23.2 - 7.4) on Maya 2015.
After the installation, when launched from the maya's plug-in manager, I only get an error message :
From what I understand, it cannot found the file in C:/program files.// generating Maya nodes...

At first I thought "well, of course", since all of my Maya's stuffs are saved on c:/Program and, not c:/ Program files
I deleted all remains of octane, then tried to reinstall it in the right folder, but couldn't.
The installation file "OctaneRender for Maya 2.23.2 - 7.4.exe" do not allows me to have a word in where I want it saved, it goes from accepting the license to the install button, without asking where it will be installed.
So then I tried to make it work by copying all my maya files from Program to program Files, so it would eventually find the right files in the path it wants to take when loading the plug-in.
But it didn't change a thing.
Still not loading, with the same error message "couldn't find the file"
I have no idea of what to do next.
I'm working on a PC running on Windows 7 professional, and with already installed multiple versions of maya (I don't know if it matters or not): Maya 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015.
