can't put a material on x-particles trails from emitter
just want to apply materials on particle trails (it works with cinema native renders) - saw a lot of such examples from https://www.behance.net/beeple
maybe somebody can help me with right setup?

You need to add hair to the trail and then material the hair - only way with Octane right now as it does not support XP shaders....yet

good effort using xparticles and octane. nice
This was a life saver....Thank You soooooo much for posting this....I've been looking for days on how to get the trails to show up in Octane....Again...THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH =)
