It's a display problem. Best to render some gradient with a 3d software in 32bit and without dithering. And testing in AE and PS.brasco wrote:It's not that they can't handle 32bit , it's that they need to be configured correctly, can you save out a test file and we can maybe help find the issue. It's usually adding in a color profile that causes problems.
cheers

Sure I'll post a file.
One thing before I do. I'm confused as to how Octane is able to render a PNG at 32 bit when C4D native is only 16 bit max. It doesn't complain about it when you set it up but If I've set everything to 32bit but my file format is PNG what bit am I getting - 16 or 32??
Thanks!

Where is 32bit for pngs? It just support 8/16. Maybe a mistake on options.bleepurchin wrote:Sure I'll post a file.

You can do this:aoktar wrote:bleepurchin wrote: Where is 32bit for pngs? It just support 8/16. Maybe a mistake on options.
Format : PNG
Depth: 32 bit
in Render passes.

I see. I should fix the interface. It absolutely doesn't export as 32bit, don't remember but should be 16bit. Thanks for info.
