I check error is link the nvidia card problem says windows, so I update driver trying everything and still the problem uninstall and install no changes other machines work but I toke the same type of machine and this happening to in the workstation.

is a Lenovo Thinkstation D20 with Windows 7 64-bit Processor Intel xeon X5650 @ 2.67GHz with memory ram 16GB, I have one GTX 780ti and a Quadro 2000.

Hi Jolbertoquini,

I have encountered the same problem when I render, but at very high resolution, over 10000 pixles, it's not clear if the problem was due to the grafic card or Octane standalone, I have a PC configured as your, WIN 8.1 60 bit 1 xeon X5460 @ 3,16 GHz, 16 GB ram, one GTX 750 Titan Black 6GB and one Quadro K2000.
May be a problem with the power supply, I have a 1100 watts ps. I think the needs of watts by GTX exceed (on that situation) the max watts of power line for graphic card. I use only GTX for render.

hi.
a couple of questions:
are you using the quadro only for display and the 780 only for Octane?
are you monitoring the VRAM usage?

Another one ;)
have you installed octane or just unzipped?
The installer should change some windows parameter for avoiding the timeout that is very important when working with displacement ;)

Hi,
in this case it seems that the PSU doesn't works as expected, have you tried with a bigger one or with an external one only for the GTX?
ciao beppe
