Hi Ahmet,
Client did not crash. (Or gives no information that it crashed.)
I have the Slave-Window open all the time when rendering.
As said, I have to quit the SLave.
Have GPU-Monitor running on the Slave and it toggles between
0% and 30% GPU-Load while rendering. This also seems a bit strange.
Should it not be at about 100% when rendering?
I miss a lot something like a "live-status" (in renderwindow statusbar or in the slave-deamon)
which gives information that the slave is actually/ indeed rendering at the moment.
thanks
Mike

Hey aoktar.
In early versions I sometimes used to keyframe the boarder values of the render region setting. in latest versions c4d stops rendering when I do so. it renders 1-5 frames in a row of an animation and then stops. would it be possible to fix this? sometimes you want to re-render only one tiny bit of the whole frame to fix something and it would be helpful not to have to render the whole frame.

Do you mean that's occuring when you made some keyframes on render region values?momade wrote:Hey aoktar.

I don't know deeply the network side of Octane. Abstrax is working on. I'll ask for these last network issues. Also there is some functions to access network log outputs and process. I'll check that.miohn wrote:Hi Ahmet,

yes. exactly. it occures when keyframing border values.
Ok thanks. I'll test it and fix if that's a bug.momade wrote:aoktar wrote:Do you mean that's occuring when you made some keyframes on render region values?momade wrote:Hey aoktar.

great. thanks for looking into this.
i have rendered two scenes with animated region parameters. That's working well. Is this occuring on any specific scenes or can you give me scene which can produce issue?momade wrote:great. thanks for looking into this.

Hey aoktar,
I have a problem with the orbx export. I want to export a scene to upload it on ORC to render. I know the exporter doesn't export the camera yet, only geometry but, is there a way to manualy match the camera? I'm trying to manually align it but I don't know how the axes translate from cinema4d to octane. When I'm copying the values from x,y,z c4d to x,y,z octane it doesn't match. Do you have any idea how I might do that?
*Edit in standalone doesn't work for me. It opens Octane but the scene remains empty.

I think you are not on latest version. Also you don't need align manually, connect ABC node's camera output to RENDERTARGET. Could you please try with LATEST version?Badger wrote:Hey aoktar,
