Hi!
I'm in trouble with 32bit layered EXRs, they look different when composed, and its a huge space consuming. Could we have a dialog or any script to save 16bit instead of 32?

tnx!

This will be awesome. I HATE converting from 32 bit to 16. I guess I just don't know enough about linear workflow.

I found out if I bring it into after effects though and edit at 32 bit linear. Then you can export as a 16 bit tiff from AE and bring into PS. Wish photoshop had better tools for linear 32 bit exrs...

Have you tried...
http://www.randomcontrol.com/arionfx-for-photoshop ?

Layered import of 32bit images works like a charm. The plugin itself is slow as hell, but the importer works gr8.. For only a hundred bucks.. :D
Octane for Modo (v 2.22.2.68), Modo (801 sp4);
2 x TITAN Black,

Yeah the problem I have though is getting it down to a 16 bit file without losing the color changes. The only way I found to get it to work is by opening it up in AE, then editting it. Then saving it out as a 16 bit tiff. Then bringing that into photoshop. It works great, but am looking for a better solution, Faster.

The current TEST version of the plugin allows saving to multi-layer 16bit EXR's.
