Hi ,

I've a problem using displacement and SSS at the same time : when I switch on the Displacement ( in the mix material containing a diffuse one and a 'spécular' one ) , then the SSS on my diffuse material seems bugging : you can see on the images above , that when Displ is on , the SSS is badly calculated and gives strange results . Is there something to do to fix this , maybe I made something wrong ?
( I'm in PT kernel , i use the displacement in the mix mat and not the diffuse mat )

( I put an uvs screenshot too in the case it could help )

thanks by advance

yep MrPinoux :) , in fact I asked in the general forum too hoping other developers could find any interest , and I replied with the 'solution' :
http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 84#p238933
it was the UVs of the back which were still in symetry projection ( so Right and left side overlapping ) and as soon as I unwrapped fully the uvs ( no overlapping areas ) it has worked .

I hope this is a bug and will be fixed because I often need to keep right and left UVs side overlapping sometimes to just paint one texture side .. if we have to unwrap all the uvs to make it work , this will be very annoying .
