Question: please take a look at this image - https://www.clinique.com.au/media/expor ... t_5_30.png
What would be the best way in octane (with lightwave) to get something similar? Just a little soft reflection and a little soft shadow. Rest of floor and background 100% white.
Any tips?
Another question: I was trying to use alpha channels, inside lightwave you could use in the surface panel/ advanced/ alpha channel/ constant value 0 or 255 to in or exclude objects in the alpha channel. How can I do something similar inside Octane?
Hope someone can help me with these 2 questions.
Thank you so much!!

Sorry, Octane doesn't support custom values for the alpha channel in the surfaces. You should use render layers if you need to break your scene in layers to make something with them in post.

Hello,
to get this kind of image, you can put a white emitter on the back of your scene,
a white glossy ground (tweak with the refraction index to balance between the brightness of the back,
the reflections of the objects and the white of your ground)
Then put 2 lights on the right and left side of your scene to light your object, all is a question of
balance between these 3 main sources of light :)

Hi Juanjo,
I don't have that layers option in Octanerender for Lightwave 2.16, I even don't see it in the octane_menu.cfg. Am I missing something?
