Hello.
Just purchased Octane and my very first render attempt has created an error. I am trying to render a 19,000,000 polygon Realflow wave simulation with just a basic texture with an Octane Object Texture.
I get the following error:
"One or more of the parameters passed were not within an acceptable range of values"
Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

If I'm remembering correctly 19 million polys is the limit in Octane. Although this is supposed to change in 3.0.

Is there a source somewhere to confirm the polygon limit before I look for other issues that are causing my problem?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Yes, the current limitation is ~19.6 million triangles. If you use displacement triangles, hair segments, rounded edges or vertex motion blur, this number gets smaller.byronfillmore wrote:Is there a source somewhere to confirm the polygon limit before I look for other issues that are causing my problem?

With version 3 we will provide the ability to use as much as can fit in VRAM.
