I'm using the final version, I can't get motion blur.
Downloaded the demo files - same results:
(slow_rotation_mblur.c4d and fast_rotation_mblur.c4d)
I've been trying to find an answer but too many pages to go through. A quick answer would be appreciated - and useful for the ones who are looking for an answer.
Motion Blur

motion blur parameters can be corrupted in demo files. Ex. Set shutter=0.04, shift=0, align=before in cameratag. this enough for camera motion blur. Also add object tag to animated objects.

Ahmet, is there any way to do selective motion blur?
I want motion blur enabled on only some objects, but even though I have it disabled on the ones I don't want it on (in the object tag) they still have motion blur effecting them...

"disable" is effective for motion blur effect of objects. I think your mblur is caused by movement of camera!ten wrote:Ahmet, is there any way to do selective motion blur?

No. It's impossible in reality and practice.MontyVFX wrote:Is there a way to use selective motion blur and shut off the camera blur in the final render?

Same story. What's your goal here? It doesn't make much sense on me. You can disable motion blur for objects but not for camera.MontyVFX wrote:What about multipass rendering? There is no path to do this?
