Of course. When I get home tonight I'll find those. It was pretty simple though, if I remember. I think it was 100% transparent, with maybe 10% reflectivity, and a Refractive index of like 1.5 or something.

Oh, and I had to increase the number of rays being fired due to all the overlapping geometry. If you're getting black patches, just increase the number of rays from 8 to like 12 or so.

I'll find the settings when I get home tonight.

Yeah sorry, that's what I meant. I guess I was thinking not of rays per se, but of the trace depth. Although in my case I didn't use pathtracing, so it would be the speculardepth value for DirectLighting.

As for my material settings:
Specular Material
Specular setting at 0.95 (floattexture)
Transmission at very nearly full on, at .98, .99, and .99. Probably could have been 1,1,1 in fact. (RGB Spectrum)
Index 1.45 (float)

That's it for the important stuff. The rest of the parameters don't enter into the effect at all.
filmwidth 0
bump 0
normal 0
opacity 1
smooth on

Oh and great news! My 470 is in the mail and should arrive tomorrow. No more of this sluggish GTS 250 bizness.
