Hey,
I'd like to clone a bunch of plants on a ground and colorize them differently , but driven with a texture or noise instead of randomly. Doing it randomly is easy possibly with the Random Color in Gradient node, but when I connect a noise or texture instead I can't see a way to project the texture to the ground and use it to drive the color change at the same time.
Indeed, there *is* a way, switching the Texture Projection to World Space. In this case it seems that I have no influence on the rotational projection of the map onto the clones. Scaling is possible but a bit of guessing the right values.
Is there another possibility to colorize MoGraph Instances driven by a texture?
Thanks!
Colorize clones with texture instead random possible?

only random color will work with render instances. But moColors will work with non-renderinstances. But pratically you can't use it with high poly objects like trees. I don't advice it.
