I have a scene with green grass.
I try to render a scene where a car drives through a field of grass and writes a text into the grass.
So I first made a black-white video drawing text with a tablet in photoshop. I generated a video h264 from it.
This video is used for T in Max Fiber Density, T in scale and T in Bump.
If I render in Lightwave with LightwaveRenderer everything is ok.
But if I use Octane for Lightwave for Rendering by pressing F10 only the first frame (picture 1) is rendered correctly. Every following render (pictures 2, 3, 4, ... is a white matte.

Here the video documentation:

It's still uploading. About 1 hour youtube says.

Are you rendering the scene in full reload or in update mode? ... try to render the scene in reload mode to see what happens.

Yes, it's no bug. With Full Scene (disabling update) everything is ok.
But then a render needs more time than lightwave itself. So there's no really benefit without speeding up rendertime. But that depends on the scene and is another thing.
12.5 seconds Lightwave
31 seconds Octane for Lightwave
Thank you for the right hint. :)

Can you please make other test? ... render the scene in update mode, but be sure to enable the "update materials" and "update FiberFX" options. Perhaps this could work without reload the scene.

No, that is no option. With update materials and Update FiberFX the Octane Preview Window get's stuck.
For more than 5 minutes it is "updating scene ..." and "Abort" does not work. I have to kill Lightwave and Octane by using the taskmanager.
It's better to fully reload the whole scene.

But it's funny: Layout CPU 0% and I can't find any octane process (I don't know the name of the octane process).

Yes, I think that the only way to render this kind of scenes with animated parameters in the FiberFX is to full reload the scene for each frame. There number of fibers in each frame is not the same, and the update process fail.
