i'm glad to publish the version 2.23.2 R6.1, which is based on Octane sdk 2.23.2. Enjoy it!
Changes for 2.23.2 R6.2
- Removed recently added a fix due stability issues. Fix: Removed double resending the geometry to Live Viewer on beginning of a render
Changes for 2.23.2 R6.1
- Scroll for side buttons with mouse wheel
- Solo mode on group buttons by RMB
- Copy/paste short on Node Editor
- Fix: Removed double resending the geometry to Live Viewer on beginning of a render
- R16: Limited support Reflectance Channel on C4D materials
- Node Editor: Enable/disable functionality for nodes
- Render passes saving: PSB option added.
Changes for 2.23.2 R5
- Added enable/disable functionality for Octane Material tabs
- Indivual "render to texture size" parameter for each Octane Materials. This is a overwrite option for global parameter in "settings->C4D shaders->Render size".
- Fix: Unstopped render on closing the Live Viewer. Issue has been appeared on RC4.

- Fix for saved Octane windows to layout
- Node editor stability fix and improvements. Some undo functionality. Fixed keyboard focus problem for node selections.
- Texture manager: Replace image file names
Changes for 2.23.2 RC3
- Fix: Evalution of Mg shaders in a material with connected to mix material
- Node editor: Lot of fix and improvement. New functionality to direct connect to pins or connection lines. Improved side menu. Better key handling.
Changes for 2.23.2 RC2
- node editor: zoom/pan with ALT+mouse or 1/2 keys. Custom settings. Auto load materials, improvements for connection of boxes
- node editor: New Side menu. New look and many new functionalities for nodes.
- Octane Texture Manager. It helps to investigate/edit the vram usage of textures and missing files.
- Fix: missing textures on untitles.scene while using of preset materials
- Export ORBX: fix missing camera connection
Changes for 2.23.2 RC1
- Improvement for editing the heavy scenes. New version is less cpu extensive in Interactive rendering mode. Also has a smart engine for providing best editing experience. We have a new parameter "Performance timer" in settings->other. Low values is well for updating in LV, but higher is better for editing the objects of complex scenes in viewport.
- Automatic mode for check geometry. It's for best experience for real interactive editing and rendering. It will make all objects movable. But be aware of limitation of object counts. Due of making all objects movable can cause high node counts. As you may know that Octane encapsulate all nodes in nodegraphs. There is a limit for count of nodes for each nodegraph as main node graph. It's about 32k nodes per nodegraph. So if you exceed 10k objects + material nodes, this can cause crashes.
- Fix crashes on OSX with mograph colors
- Fix for "open in Picture Viewer" commmand
-Update from R16.038 to R16.050 (You'll probably need to update your C4D to 16.050)
- Sdk 2.23.2
Note about "new.c4d" or "default.c4d" usage. If you have this scene as startup which is done by old version. Please create new one with current version to avoid a warning window.
IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTES:
Due to the switch to CUDA 6.5 you will need a current graphics driver of version 344.x or higher. On Mac OSX you will need a CUDA driver of version 6.5 or higher (see http://www.nvidia.com/object/mac-driver-archive.html). The minimum supported version of Mac OS is 10.7.
Also matching version of Standalone 2.23.2 is highly recommended.
And remove all old plugin files before installing. Any version conflict or old drivers can cause crashes

I need to know that plugin version/Os/HW, bugreport zip. Last operations before crashes.

But, now, I've a big problem: the rendering doesn't match the live view rendering, as you can see...
I've just update to the newest release 2.23.2_RC1 and the problem is persisting.
At the moment I'm still working around the model, but, in a couple of days, I have to run the final rendering.
The spot are mapped as emitter and it doesn't matter if they are instances or real model...
So, please, tell me something about.

If you don't use a objecttag for rendering, it will be collected as single mesh. That's the reason. Please see latest tutorials and FAQ.lucioing wrote:The spot seems to be blind... they doesn't emit light...
