I was trudging along and I wanted to use the suggested SSS shader on the forum.
Well here's what I got.

A difference I could not follow from the version of the tutorial to the newest version of poser..
What is Material Mix-> Second Material-> texture2 in Poser pro 2014? (Input texture power gamma invert uv transform projcetion border mode scale texture specular roughness index of refraction bump normal displacement opacity smooth rounded edges filmwidth)

Hi - there has been some renaming of pins since that tutorial was put together.
Material1 = First Material
Material2 =Second Material
Also, You Scatter and Absorption is 0/0/0, and should be mid-grey.
You can enable the SSS Render Pass to see the exact SSS effect you are getting to fine tune things.
And the RedSpec SSS shader is better than anything I've been able to get, so take a look at that.
