Carrara crashing on loading Octane plugin

I posted this on Carrara forum first, then realized there's an Octane Carrara plugin forum so posting again here -

I bought octane and rendered my first video with it successfully (1:50 minutes long) and was very happy with Octane.

However now when I'm opening the same project, Carrara is crashing as soon as I open Octane. When I'm starting a new empty project and then loading Octane, again Carrara crashes everytime. I have restarted my PC and tried.

Config - Carrara 8.5, latest octane plugin (2.17 stable version), windows 7 64 bit, PC core i7 16 GB Ram, Nvidia graphics card.

Try to reinstall Octane for Carrara.
You will get the possibility to Modify, to Repair and to Remove.
Do a Repair. Maybe it helps.

I did that just now and tried again. Carrara crashes whenever I open a new project and load Octane. Even if Octane is in pause mode it crashes. Strange thing is this never happened with the demo, nor with the animation project I just finished rendering with Octane. I will try again tomorrow, maybe I'll have better luck.

If you are using 2.17 then please make sure you are using version 2.17.0068 and not 2.17.0066. If you continue to see a crash please PM me a scene file so I can reproduce the issue.

Thanks that worked! Downloaded the latest release and it's fine now. My version was 217066 while the latest is 217068. Though I had downloaded the latest version when I bought it a couple of days back, I had the demo installed from a month back so maybe that had something to do with it.
