Stacking Materials

yes, octane has not support as i described. I'm trying to add some features in plugin. But some fundemantal things are dependent to Octane's capacity.

Hi all,
Is there a way to stack materials with different projection methods ?
This is the last problem I have to switch my render from AR to Octane.
For one of my customers, I work often with a character which has bump stuffs on the body and
a logo around the chest. This logo should be fixed in spite of the deformations of the rigg.
In AR, I use camera projection for the logo, to resolve this problem.
Thanks !

you do it by using projection texture in imagetextures. change it to perspective mode, drop a camera do linkbox. Finally tweak transform of imageVincent wrote:Hi all,

Ok Aoktar,
But it's what I do ...
However, I just noticed that the mapping projection did not seem stable in animation.
This is a bug or I 'm using it wrong ..?
You can find a test file in attachment (problem_camera_proj.zip).
Start playback to see what I mean.
Thank you very much.

ok, will check it. But try without camera linked. No need on your scenario. Object coordinates will help to you. Check your revised files.

This is a good solution Aoktar,
However, this is not usuable for my scenario :
The texture should be projected on a rigged character.
This character is animated, but the texture projected by "texture projection XYZ to UVW method" doesn't follow the mesh.
Example in attached file.
Thank you.

"Personally i prefer to wait a little about new improvements of Octane engine."
That sounds reasonable. Do you have any idea whether some of these stacking and tiling issues might get better in Octane 3.0?
