My feelings exactly. Especially when you're putting down $1000.00 + for a GPU, and a PSU is only a fraction of that. Don't be penny-wise foolish.Yeah - that's why it's not advised to save on PSU - these could kill entire system =)

I just like to be careful. IMHO it is also important if one of your fans happens to die on you, and you don't know it, which means your case will run even hotter. Heat kills and shortens the life of everything in your case.
I agree with your caveat about just going with a 750W PSU. His over clocking those GPUs will send that power curves disproportionate upwards, as each crank upwards uses more and more power. I typically see 120 to 130% above TDP with my over clocks. 375 x 2 = 750; 750 X 1.2 = 900.
Because I have 180+ GPU processers in 16 tweaked/multiOS systems - Character limit prevents detailed stats.
as we could see from shown graphs - it's nothing bad to run 2x TitanX without OC even on 700W system, but..it's not advisable if You OC..-Tutor made a clear point with numbers =)

btw, I had just been shopping for PSU's and the EVGA Supernova (1000 to 1600w) gold ones on Amazon looked like a good deal and had good reviews ... I'm definitely not a systems builder so no idea how reliable these are but that's what I had been leaning towards
