I just bought Octane and the Poser plug in a few weeks ago. I wonder if I can upgrade for free?? If I knew it was going to be out so soon I probably would have waited.

You're probably better of that way, since upgrade-prices are usually cheaper than getting the newer version first thing. The standalone and plug-in prices
increased every time a new version came out.
