Car and boxes which you see in sample video, they are directly tweaked in C4D and exported via orbx command. It's possible to export some scenes with full setup, but it's not appropiate for big scenes. Also AE plugin can be used on different layers with different objects/orbx scenes. So it's possible to combine different objects with different kernels. Even it's possible to use some compositions as texture over objects. But still have lacks and need more improvements.

I think the "orbx" command is not in C4D demo plug, I guess it is a Stand alone feature.

"..possible to export some scenes.." will try to look into limitations, without the "live Viewer' C4d "edit in Stand alone" feature, the learn curve tricky.

I guess I'll have to purchase when available.

If the very useful lighting of Octane can be passed through, you will have a winner!

The community that deals with "broadcast", I suspect, will be a good revenue generator for Otoy as After effects/Adobe has not improved much of late and Ae has a huge portion of Broadcast market-special effects.

AE user since v5.0 (not CS5!) who uses Octane daily with c4D and AE for final output. Very, very interested in alpha/beta testing this product! Happy to answer any questions you may have for me.

I do a lot of industrial animations for trade shows and sales. All my work involves heavy 3D (octane) with a lot of compositing in AE

I am very interested in being a closed beta tester for the After Effects Plugin. Our team of 5 production artists utilize After Effects CC 2014 in our daily workflow to produce videos, animations, and stills for global companies like HP, Canon, Kodak, and many others. We have been using Octane in conjunction with Cinema 4D R16 for close to a year now and are anxious to deploy the Octane technology in After Effects.
